I am pleased to share a new scholarship opportunity, Pathways to Advancement Workforce Development Fund. This new scholarship opportunity was created to support UPMC Chautauqua employees who are pursuing educational advancement, professional certifications, and workforce development opportunities that strengthen both their careers and our organization.
The Pathways to Advancement Fund is designed to help remove financial barriers for employees seeking to further their education or obtain facility-based certifications, while encouraging continued growth and knowledge-sharing within UPMC Chautauqua. Eligible applicants may include those enrolled in accredited educational programs as well as employees pursuing approved workforce training opportunities such as HVAC, boiler operations, and professional certifications. Applicants are expected to demonstrate educational achievement, financial need, and a commitment to applying their new knowledge in support of our mission.
We are asking managers to help make staff aware of this exciting opportunity and encourage employees who may benefit from additional education, training, or career advancement to consider applying. The application includes information regarding eligibility requirements, required supporting documentation, and submission instructions.
